Booking Conditions

1. Your Contract with DND Travel

A binding contract will exist between you and DND Travel when you complete the booking process and submit full payment or an approved payment plan installment. By booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and authorized to accept these Booking Conditions on behalf of all travelers included in your booking.

2. What's Included in Your Booking

Each Trip page outlines what is included. In general, your booking includes:

• Accommodations in boutique, locally hosted hotels (max 3 travelers per room unless upgraded)
• Experiences, tours, and activities listed as "Included"
• Certain group meals specified in the itinerary
• On-site support from the DND Travel team and local partners
• Ground transportation as listed in the itinerary

3. What's Not Included

Unless explicitly stated, the following are not included:

• Airfare to and from the Trip destination
• Travel insurance
• Gratuities
• Optional excursions and add-ons
• Visas, passport fees, border entry fees
• Personal expenses, meals not listed as included, and incidentals
• Medical or emergency expenses
• Transportation outside the scheduled group itinerary
• Baggage fees, porterage, or airport transfers
• Any item not specified as "Included"

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary travel documents and insurance to participate safely.

4. Travel Insurance Requirement & Recommendation

DND Travel does not provide travel insurance. Although not mandatory, we strongly recommend that all travelers purchase a comprehensive plan that includes trip cancellation, interruption, medical coverage, and baggage protection.

5. Payment & Pricing

5.1 Price Guarantee

Once you have booked and paid in full, the price of your Trip is guaranteed and will not increase unless you request an upgrade or add-on.

5.2 Payment Schedule

• All bookings require full payment at checkout, unless you choose to pay through Affirm and Klarna, in which case you agree to the terms set by your chosen provider.
• DND Travel does not administer, manage, or troubleshoot third-party payment plans.

6. Cancellations by You

Our cancellation policy mirrors EF Ultimate Break's structure but adapted for your flat-fee booking model.

6.1 Cancellation Timeline & Fees

If you choose to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:

• More than 90 days before trip start: Refund minus a $150 cancellation fee
• 90–61 days before trip start: 50% refund of the total trip cost
• 60–31 days before trip start: 25% refund of the total trip cost
• 30 days or fewer before trip start: No refund; 100% of trip cost is forfeited

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to DND Travel.

6.2 Payment Plan Cancellations

If you booked through Affirm or Klarna, you remain responsible for your repayment obligations to them, regardless of cancellation.

7. Cancellations or Changes by DND Travel

We reserve the right to modify or cancel a Trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as force majeure events, venue changes, lack of supplier availability, or insufficient enrollment.

If we cancel your Trip, you will be offered:

• Transfer to another DND Travel Trip of equal or lower value, or
• A full refund of monies paid to DND Travel

We are not responsible for any external costs such as airfare, accommodations booked independently, or insurance premiums.

8. Itineraries & Flexibility

You acknowledge that itineraries may shift due to weather, safety considerations, local holidays, closures, or partner availability. We will always aim to provide the same quality of experience and substitute comparable activities when needed.

9. Accommodations & Rooming

9.1 Standard Rooming

Our accommodations are boutique properties with rooms that house up to three travelers. To assist with room assignments:

• Travelers booking together should book at the same time to ensure group placement
• Unless otherwise stated, travelers will be placed with roommates of the same gender

9.2 Private Rooms

Requests for private accommodations are subject to availability and require an additional fee. Fees vary by Trip.

10. Health, Safety & Fitness to Travel

You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and mentally capable of participating in the Trip. Notify us of any health conditions or mobility concerns before booking.

DND Travel reserves the right to refuse participation if a traveler's condition jeopardizes the safety or enjoyment of the group.

11. Travel Documents & Entry Requirements

You must hold a valid passport and all visas required for your Trip. Entry requirements vary by destination and may change without notice. DND Travel is not responsible for denied entry, missed activities, or additional expenses due to incomplete documentation.

12. Flights

Since DND Travel does not handle airfare, the following applies:

• You are responsible for arranging your own flights
• You must arrive in-destination in time for the Trip start
• DND Travel is not responsible for missed activities, delays, or cancellations caused by your airline or flight schedule
• No refunds are provided for missed services due to travel disruptions

13. Behavior & Group Conduct

We want every traveler to enjoy a respectful, safe experience. You agree to:

• Follow instructions from DND Travel staff and local partners
• Behave respectfully toward fellow travelers, staff, and local residents
• Refrain from illegal activity or disruptive behavior

Failure to comply may result in removal from the Trip without refund.

14. Liability Waiver

You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks including but not limited to transportation incidents, illness, injury, weather conditions, and local hazards. By booking, you agree that DND Travel is not liable for losses, damages, delays, injury, or death arising from participation, except where required by law.

15. Optional Tours & Activities

Optional activities offered during a Trip are not included in your booking. Participation is voluntary and governed by the terms of the local operator. DND Travel is not responsible for injuries or losses resulting from optional activities or excursions.

16. Complaint Resolution

If you experience an issue during your Trip, notify your DND Travel representative immediately so we can work to resolve it. Complaints submitted after the Trip may be harder to address but we will do our best to assist.

17. Media Release

By participating in a Trip, you grant DND Travel permission to use photos and videos captured during the experience for marketing and promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing prior to departure.

18. Acceptance of Terms

By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Booking Conditions.
